Q. What if I am unwell/injured mid to long term? (5 weeks plus)
A. We will stop your monthly payments until you are ready to return and I would do my best to keep that slot open for you but I wouldn’t be able to guarantee it. When you return, we would reset the year (40 sessions) back to zero.
Q. What if I go on holiday for a month?
A. If you are going on holiday for a month, we may not need to stop your subscription. I am committing to being available for 40 sessions (weekly) or 20 sessions (bi-weekly) per year. Just because you’re away for 4 weeks, it doesn’t mean that you won’t get your 40 or 20 sessions. You can choose to stop your subscription but there is no guarantee that your slot will be kept available. If you did cancel your subscription, we would reset to zero when you return.
Q. Will I definitely get all 40 or 20 sessions?
A. There is no guarantee that you will get all 40 or 20 sessions. I am committing to being available for 40 sessions (essentially 40 weeks per client) per year but if, worst case, you couldn’t attend 20 weeks’ worth of sessions over a year, I may not necessarily be able to make up all the slots that you personally can’t make – otherwise I may end up working 52 weeks! I’ll do my best though, including working on Saturdays. My goal is to ensure you DO get all of your sessions, even if your own calendar says otherwise.
Q. How will we track your sessions?
A. When I return, I will introduce log books. I know we have My PT Hub online but in this modern age, who doesn’t love something a little more tangible to write out their goals, track results and keep tabs on sessions? Your log books will remain at the gym to ensure you don’t forget them but of course, you can take them home from time to time to show off your progress to your family and they will be yours to keep on completion. These log books are included in your monthly subscription price and you will, of course, still get access to my PT hub for access to other home or gym workouts.
Q. How will you collect my monthly Direct Debit?
A. I have set up Go Cardless for Xero. You will receive an invite through that to set up your Direct Debit.
Q. When does the year run from?
A. The year starts on the day of your first session.
Q. Do you know which 10 weeks you will be off?
A. Yes, they will coincide with the school holidays. I will give you those dates as soon as we get going.
Q. If I use a PT at my gym, I don’t get charged for my session when I cancel outside of 24 hours, does this make you less flexible/competitive?
A. Personal Training at David Lloyd’s or DW Fitness costs £40 to £50 per hour on top of your gym membership and for the most part, your PT in a gym is your PT for that one hour only. When you PT with me, you receive a high value service that also includes:
- Access to me around the clock, should you have any questions on training/nutrition
- A copy of my Ignition eBook which includes a copy of my nutrition plan, as well as a shopping list, a supplements list and lots more
- Your new aforementioned log book
- Access to My PT Hub – enabling you to track your progress, workouts and nutrition online and access more gym and home workouts
- 25% off a 3D body composition scan with Well Measured in Gloucester, to enable us to accurately understand your fat mass versus lean mass, vital stats and health assessment and should you want it, to accurately set your nutritional macros which you can track in My PT Hub
- Client reviews and check ins
Q. What if you are not available for 40 sessions in the year?
A. In the unlikely event that I am not available for 40 sessions throughout the year, I will refund you for any sessions owed, at the end of your year.
Q. What if I don’t want to commit to a year?
A. That’s fine, you may cancel at any time.
Q. What if I only want to sign up for the summer or a specified couple of months?
A. If I have availability, I am open to doing this and will work out a set price for that period, taking into account any holidays I have planned during that time.
