Mama & Baby / Toddler Fit Classes


My Mama and Baby Fit classes and my new Mama and Toddler class will start again on Wednesday, 1st May at 10am. I have moved locations and will now be over at Anneli Dance Studios, by Kingsditch Retail Park.  This is a great venue as there is heaps of FREE parking outside the studio, as well as a comfortable lounge area for changing babies, leaving pushchairs etc.

Baby classes are for babies aged 3 months to 12 months old. I am happy for older babies to come as long as they are not yet walking, otherwise it will be tricky for you to join in. It is absolutely no problem if you need to feed during the session or if baby falls asleep or just doesn’t want to be held. If this is the case, I will give you some dumbbells or a kettlebell to use instead.

These classes are strength sessions where you will use baby as a weight. They are all over body workouts but we put an emphasis on rebuilding a strong core and pelvic floor. For more info, see here.

The toddler classes will be slightly different in that toddler can join in, not join in, play with toys etc. do whatever they want to do (within the confines of the studio :)) and you will use dumbbells and kettlebells. The focus is on YOU and you getting the most of this strength session. So bring what you need to keep your little happy. Please note: you are more than welcome to attend this class without a toddler – as long as you’re ok with little runs potentially running around. I hope to launch a ladies only class very soon.

Please note, there may be the odd Wednesday that classes aren’t on or they may be on at a slightly different time. Therefore, classes are pay as you go. Please bring cash on the day or pay by PayPal when you book onto the class. There is a maximum of 15 ladies per class for the baby class and 12 for the toddler class.
